When NHBC decided to provide visitors with a cashless system card and provide a one stop shop with building information incorporating a cash loader and free standing plasma screen, the Tastemodern team created a free standing unit housing plasma screen and cash loader into a neat surround in keeping with the style and finish of a previous unit installed late 2009. A concealed draw was built for the plasma screen keyboard to allow reception staff make the necessary information changes and access at the back of the unit was created with a lockable door to ensure that any IT equipment could be quickly dealt with. Having worked with the Tastemodern team on a previous project – NHBC was confident that Tastemodern would provide a stylish solution to work in harmony aesthetically with the other vending surround zone already in place in the Atrium – keeping it all in the family.
